Whether for his creativity, teamwork or vision, his famous strokes of inspiration are more in demand than ever. Matthias, our boss, is constantly working on new ways to inspire guests. He is equally happy to lend a hand as a service staff member in the dining room or as a handyman for repairs. A warm smile is always available, no matter the activity. This is especially true whilst driving a Porsche, which is his great passion. Watch for him cruising by with the broadest of grins.
Fine cuisine is his life's work. With a healthy portion of positive intuition and a flair for the artistic, Georg has made the Hanswirt into the special place it is today. As a head chef for many decades already, he adds a dash of the unique to every dish with his incomparable passion. Thanks to his typical South Tyrolean charm, he was born to work in hospitality. As a grandfather, he’s also second to none.
As is often the case, the hard-working hands of a woman make the impossible possible. You’ll find Anna tirelessly working in the kitchen as the first in during the morning and last out during the evening. Though she often performs her magic in the background, she is unspeakably valuable. Anna conjures up the best jams for the breakfast table, the tastiest loaves of bread for wine and cheese and the most delicious biscuits as a snack for in between meals. Her pride and joy, however, is her vegetable and herb garden, which is second only to her three grandchildren, Leo, Jacob and Milla.
What would the service team be without her? Every day, our dear sister Gerlinde ensures that everything runs smoothly in the restaurant from start to finish. No guest’s wish is ever lost thanks to her exceptional talent for communication. With her warm and friendly manner and a cheerful smile on her face, she takes care of every request, no matter how challenging.
She’s our first line of contact with our guests – and the first to form a relationship. With her open, congenial manner, our aunt Sabine is there for everyone and has an open ear for questions and wishes of any kind. She ensures that every single guest in the hotel is welcomed personally and with a human touch, and thus ready to enjoy a stylish time out.
