We're not driven by trends and signs of the times, but by our passion for tradition. With great attention to detail, Gerlinde's husband manages the large organic farm and tends the orchards, harvesting plenty of natural produce to please the palate – from organic apples to organic blueberries.
Historical and organic farm
The Hanswirt Inn and the surrounding farm have been in the Laimer family since the 16th century. Today, countless apple trees thrive in and around the Hanswirt, where meadows and fields once stood – not to mention spicy herbs in our garden. Our ingredients, which are sourced from regional, sustainable and organic cultivation, are processed with much care and tradition and arrive directly to your table in the form of deliciously fragrant bread or colourful spring salads.

Want to take a slice of pleasure home with you or give it as a gift? Keen to have a small memento from the Hanswirt? You can’t go wrong with strawberry and apricot jams. We also recommend packing a bottle of Limoncello and typical South Tyrolean "Schüttelbrot" crisp bread. After all, there is always time for enjoyment, no matter where you are.
